![]() ![]() I am fortunate to have found a 3070 in a time like this, but my 1050 ti ran modded with shaders just fine before I got the 3070. I have been able to comfortably run modded for awhile now. I have a Ryzen 5 3600, EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3, and 16GB of corsair DDR4 (i forgot the speed), and lastly have modded installed on an SSD M2 drive. Java Minecraft (along with most games) is mostly dependent on single core preformance- and the extra cores won’t benefit much.Īn ssd is very nice to decrease loading time on booting up your modpacks! These are worth every cent! Prioritize something with high single core preformance rather than a cpu with more cores. Your CPU is the heart and soul of minecraft. Your GPU is going to be largely what determines how intensive of shaders you can use. A comfortable number is 16GB, so that you can allocate 8GB for the game and the other half for your pc to use (discord, OS, etc.) Your RAM is going to be what determines how many mods (or how large of modpacks) you can run (efficiently).
